Heatproof Tape is 19mm wide and comes on a 50 meter roll. It is fantastic for sticking your painting card down onto the hotplate surface, or for use with hot air work too. The tape adhesive is manufactured to withstand the low temperature use associated with molten wax working. If applied carefully along the card edge it will peel off at the end of your working to reveal a clean white border which can look very nice. The adhesive remains tacky but does not leave the same type of sticky residue behind that normal tapes will. It can be reused if it is clean enough on the top face and so long as it is removed carefully from the last working situation. Brilliant stuff and well worth getting.

he crucible is something special and allows wax colours to be melted (and mixed) in the small heated pot. It is threaded to fit the encaustic art Stylus Pro wax graphics tool. Once the waxes have melted they can be poured out through the small tube in a flowing fluid line. Alternatively they can be poured out over the edge. When working with thicker wax residue it is best to work onto rigid surfaces like board or thick card so that the wax does not crack if flexed or bent too much. There are a lot of possibilities with this crucible and it is a great way to use up those fiddly little bits of wax colour that you can get left with. Well worth a play!

This very absorbent paper is ideal for laying underneath your working painting card to soak up excess coloured wax and keep your workplace clean and tidy. However, it is also a wonderful paper substrate for printing wax images onto (similar to using fabric) and also for hotplate mono-printing.
