Bharath Darshan is genuine Indian incense, and our personal favourite joss.

It states on the packet: Incense provides the natural breath to make the mind concentrate and frees the individual from all the negative qualities of the mind such as anger, greed and ignorance.

"Bharath" is Sanskrit for "the land where the people are attached to God" (ancieant India.
Darshan is Sanskrit for "to see and be seen by a deity or holy person"

Joss is a fragrent mixture of incense powder on a small wooden stick. You light the end then blow out any flame leaving the stick to smoulder, giving off a scented smoke. Joss is designed to burn evenly over a period of time, and will go out once the incense has burnt, leaving behind a small stick.
